The bridge spans the Yarra River in the Melbourne CBD.
This young man was putting himself through university by busking. Being the Christmas season, he was playing Christmas music. When I asked him what kind of music he like most, he said Jazz and Classical. I sent him a copy of this photo as his request.
Spanning the Yarra River, the bridge connects Swanston Street on the north bank of the Yarra River to St Kilda Road on the south bank, and carries road, tram and pedestrian traffic. The present bridge was built in 1888 and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
One of a number of developed lanes within the Melbourne CBD which have become popular eating places with a wide variety of eateries.
