These shops, located on Victoria St., the northern boundary of Vic Market are colourful and attractive, but never seem to busy. It could be that as they have their 'backs' to the market they do not attract the foot traffic necessary to keep them busy. Never-the-less, they provide the visitor a glimpse of retailing from the early nineteen hundreds.
