Sometimes just editing an existing shot brings out a different artistic perspective.

With moss and lichen covering the trees, taken on a dreary March morning's walk in North Vancouver during a light almost mist-like drizzle. Enchanting!

The large drifter trapped on the causeway will likely float away at the next high tide. Its golden colour is accentuated by its wet surface adding a colourful contrast to the scene.

Moss covers trees overhang this lovely trail that winds its way through tall cedars next to the Capilano River.

  • Capilano River

    Capilano River

This river is fed by the runoff from the Capilano Dam, and the river runs only five short kilometers to the Burrard Inlet through dense rainforest in its upper reaches and then through the busy city of North Vancouver.

The rock causeway is particularly hazardous due to the rain which makes the rocks very slippery.
