Melbourne Southbank ~ November

This and the next three long exposure images were taken with my Canon 5D Mark III fitted with a ten stop neutral density filter which smooths out moving objects like the water surface and clouds.
This shot is taken in an NW direction tracing the Yarra River almost to where it enters Port Phillip Bay. Virtually all of these buildings have been constructed in the past 12 years.

Three bridges ~ L to R ~ Sandridge Pedestrian Rail Bridge, Evan Walker Pedestrian Bridge, Princes Bridge
This shot was taken under the pedestrian rail bridge known as the Sandridge Bridge.
Another shot from the Skydeck looking north-east across the inner Melbourne suburbs to the Dandenong Mountains in the east. The round building in the middle of this shot is the Melbourne Cricket Grounds (MCG) which holds 100K sport fans.
The waterfront building with the four sails is the Melbourne aquarium, Sea•Life. The bridge is the King Bridge.
Eureka Tower is a 297.3-metre skyscraper located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This shot was taken from the Skydeck looking down to the Yarra River below.
This view looks west toward the mouth of the Yarra River in the distance. A close look reveals a cruise ship docked at Station Pier in South Melbourne (top centre).
