Kookaburras are terrestrial tree kingfishers of the genus Dacelo native to Australia and New Guinea, which grow to between 28–42 cm in length. This image has been processed to give it a painterly look.
This tunnel can be considered the gateway to the outer eastern suburbs. It runs under Mullum Mullum Creek and is a significant eco/nature reserve. Mullum Mullum Creek runs into the Yarra River.
This image looks like an Iris. However, its a close-up of a bloom on a flowering shrub. The flower is no more than 10mm across.
Long exposure shot of The Geelong Pier. Geelong is the second largest city in the Australian state of Victoria. It is located on Corio Bay, a sub-bay of Port Phillip Bay and was once the largest wool exporting port in Australia.

This shot was taken at 5:30am showing a sunrise and light-trails of cars entering and exiting the tunnel.
Backlit Cactus Flower ~ Epiphyllum
With the sun filtered by trees in the background and shining through the translucent petals, this image reveals the beauty of these short-lived flowers.
This is a highly processed photo severely criticised by my photography peers. However, I like it.
