The Australian Magpies are monogamous, and mate and breed in their respective territories that they defend against predators and other groups of magpies. These birds acclimatize very easily to people and will soon take food from the hand (a practice not encouraged by bird lovers.)
Statice Flower ( Perezil Sea Lavender)
Limonium is a genus of 120 flower species. Members are also known as sea-lavender, statice, caspia or marsh-rosemary. Despite their common names, species are not related to the lavenders or to rosemary. Limonium perezii is a species of sea lavender known by the common name Perez's sea lavender. It is native to the coasts of the Canary Islands.
This might be in the Kniphofia species, a flower of African origin. Also known locally as Soldier Boys. If you know it name please add to the comments section below.
Photographers know how much a scene changes with the changing position of the sun. Here we have long shadows created by the sun being very low before sunset. Soft golden light and long shadows - thats why I took this shot.
