Arbutus Greenway ~ June
Love the new greenway which runs from Marpole to False Creek in Vancouver.

The greenway provides a safe cycling and walking tract through the affluent western suburbs of Vancouver. Lined with wildflowers, benches for resting, bicycle rental stations and urban neighbourhood gardens, the greenway is a wonderful amenity for Vancouver residents.
I don't know the name of this or any other of the flowers in this gallery. It's my understanding the city scatter seeds at random along the greenway. The flowers were chosen for being hardy against drought and hot sun. Some may even be considered weeds.
