lunar Eclipse ~ January
Last night, Jan 30, the world was treated to a Blue Moon, which was also a Blood Moon, which was also a Supermoon - an event that hasn't occurred in some parts of the world for 150 years.

The moon is further west in this photo and has turned red due to the angle of the sun through the earth's atmosphere.
This shot of the eclipse was taken at 11:15pm just over 30 minutes prior to the next shot at full eclipse.

This shot was taken at 10:45pm, one hour before the entire Super Moon was eclipsed by the earth. The shadow in the five o'clock position is the beginning of the eclipse.
