Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway is a Texas state park located along the eastern edge of the Llano Estacado in Briscoe County, Texas, United States, approximately 100 miles southeast of Amarillo.Our visit to Texas took place in early July. with daytime temperatures in the mid 30's°. We visited my brother's place in a rather remote ranch near Bowie TX .
