This beautiful boy was curious and friendly. I spoke with his owner who encouraged me to come back after she had brushed him down. But I could not.
The PS Pevensey is known all over the world for her starring role as "Philadelphia" in the Australian television mini-series "All the Rivers Run", filmed in Echuca in 1982-83.
At 106 years old, our "Lady of the River", PS Pevensey still catches your eye with her long slender beauty. Carrying up to 100 passengers is no problem for her - she holds the record for the most wool bales carried by any paddlesteamer.
