Also called a Fibonacci curve. In geometry, a golden spiral is a logarithmic spiral whose growth factor is φ, the golden ratio. That is, a golden spiral gets wider (or further from its origin) by a factor of φ for every quarter turn it makes.
As I frequently observed this beautiful Frangipani the early flowers fell off making way for additional. I placed these two blooms on a bronzed mirror to duplicate the effect.

This shot was taken at the end of February. A couple of blossoms have matured and fallen, but there are many more yet to mature.
This plant has been growing in our garden for over two years. This is the first time it has bloomed. In this photo, I count six develped bloombs, seven developing blooms and a potential 13 yet to form a bud with potential.
Our Frangipani has fully bloomed (end of March). It is as fragrant as it is beautiful.
